  • Organising training in the National TB and Lung Disease Research Institute and in the Centre for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw.
  • Guest lectures given at externally-organised events and at the meetings of pulmonologists to explain DOTS strategy.
  • WHO/KNCV Regional Training in TB Control Programme Management
  • Tuberculosis: transmission and environmental control, diagnosis and the role of various techniques, case management and prevention of drug resistant tuberculosis
  • TB management in groups risk: contact, prisoners, TB/HIV, others

  1. Tuberculosis and mycobacteriosis:  detection,AFB, culture Bactec 460 Tb, Bactec MGIT 960 ,MB/BacT, Gen_Probe, ProbeTec, identification gene-probs, HPLC, Hsp-65, DST, molecular typing (spoligo, IS 6110 RFLP, MIRU, contact tracing,  mutations.
  2. Monitoring of tuberculosis: bioavailability of TB drugs by HPLC and molecular typing  of acetylation in patient

  3. General microbiology: detection, identification of pathogens Phenix, monitoring  and molecular typing of nosocomial infections in hospital

  4. Mycology:fungal infections in patients, genetic similarity, antigens, antibodies, dermatophytes
