• Former tuberculosis institute ,three tuberculosis hospitals and infection diseases hospital in vilnius  were joined to one complex  five years ago.
• There are 280 tb beds, from them 70 beds are  for mdr tb and other drug resistant

• Diagnostic and treatment of tuberculosis

• Surveilliance of drug resistance in Lithuania

• Training for laboratory staff

• EQA for microscopy and drug resistance by sending the panels to 12 microskopy centers and 5 TB bacteriology laboratories

• Molecular Epidemiology of TB (in cooperation with the Institute of Biotechnology)
